PRAYERS FOR HEALING
On the last Saturday of every month, our partner, Chicago Homicide Vigil, hosts a virtual vigil in honor of those who have lost their lives to gun violence. The Virtual Vigil serves as a public witness to the sacredness of life when it has been lost through gun violence. We honor the name of each person who has lost their life to gun violence.
The mission of the virtual vigils is to:
PRAY
For the victims, their families and friends as well as the perpetrators and their families and friends.
ASK
God for a change of heart in all of us so that no more blood will be shed on our streets.
BE
A visible presence in confronting the issue of gun violence.
